Ok. DS is 2 and has been doing well at potty training. However, everytime he gets in the tub (which he loves) he seems to think that is that place to pee, even if I had him sit on the potty before hand. He just wont go.
Ideas? We bathe him only about 3 times a week Anthe evening but not right before bed.

Its a common reaction, my DS does it often as well. I've gotten lucky once where the sound of the water running got him to go on the toliet. It happened a lot more when he was littler, but I think that had more to do with a smaller bladder than anything.

Actually, some mom's use this reaction to help with potty training. They take the potty seat and place it in the bath, with just enough warm water to cover the child's toes. It gives that reaction and something to play with to keep them sitting for a little while.

You might try not plugging the tub for a little bit when you first put him in there, so you can rinse him off and drain the water more easily.

Thanks. I kind of figured it was just a wait it out kind of situation. No biggie. :)

Something else I just thought of that might help make it so he doesn't have to go when he gets in the tub. Put a dish washing tub filled with a small amount of warm water under his feet while your waiting for the tub to fill, maybe the combo will cause him to go before he climbs in :)

Eh. I think id rather clean the tub. I just want to make sure he is not confused about where to go.
