Hello Heidi,welcome to our board.

Don't worry,this is normal,something gave her a scare,but this will not last.

Now as for the diapers, yes, get rid of them during the day,I would imagine she is still wet in the morning?

Buy her some thicker cloth training panties and a dozen pair of plastic panties to put over them to help contain the accidents.

They will also let her know when she starts to pee and will not feel all that great.

Now,as she is over three years of age,you might want to see how she reacts to the wet panties,if they do not seem to phase her,we may need to get a bit more serious.

But lets see how she acts with the panty turn over.

Please let us know what you do try and her responses.

Many Blessings.

Ok, maybe we need to get serious.

Could you along with taking her every hour or so (however often your taking her now), have her sit for 5 min, let her up for 10min, then back to the potty for 5min until she goes, then wait another hour? Does that make sense? Rather than forcing her to stay on the toilet until she goes?

Could it be that all the attention she gets with going in her pants (even if its negative) is making it more exciting for her to go in her pants than on the toilet? Maybe if that might be the case, keep it calm when she soaks her pants (i.e. "Oops, wet your pants, lets go get changed and dry.") Keeping as little emotion as possible when she wets her pants, but make it a HUGE celebration when she keeps her undies and pants dry and goes in the toilet.

Just my thoughts.
