Can anyone recommend a good, easy to use travel potty? We are using a potty chair at home and would love to have something convenient to take along when visiting or out and about. Thanks :-)

If you find one please share. We have been using a safety first with a locking lid. Its not great but it works and come apart to clean.

I've seriously considered one of these if we go on a long trip with young kids. Haven't gotten one myself yet though.

We have the baby bjorn potty chair at home and DD uses it two to three times a day. I would take that but it's got a high back so it takes up a good chunk of room. The one step ahead one looks neat but I would need a million liners at this point. We found the baby bjorn smart potty which is quite similar to the potty chair but smaller with no back, taking up a lot less room. It isn't a real travel potty but seems compact enough to grab and go so we got it. I will post an update in a few days once it's been put to the test.

Yeah, I know that feeling. Did ya notice that the legs flip out to make it a regular potty ring? So it kinda does 2 jobs in one, that's why I like it :)

Ok so we took the potty out today. DD sat on it both times and peed once. The second time she had a pretty full diaper (so probably empty bladder) and got startled in the very busy and loud family washroom. I found a little tote bag in the closet and the potty, diapers, wipes, and an extra outfit fit in there great. The bag fits in the stroller basket so it's easy to transport. The potty is easy to clean, and DD was fine with it. Overall I think we have a winner, it works for us :-)

Woot for finding what works :) We'll see what works for us when we get there too.
