Jane, Hi and welcome to the Toilet Teaching board.

My suggestion is to tell your DD that there are so many more things she can do as she grows up. Take her to the store and have her pick out something she really wants, and tell her she can have it after x amount of times using the potty. Also have her pick out big girl underwear. Start at home, take away the pull ups, and use the underwear. If she has an accident have her help clean up, rinse out the clothes, and then put them in the hamper, washer or wherever you want them, and then have her get dressed herself. You may also want to get a watch with a timer, (there are potty training watches out there), set the alarm to go off every hour and when the timer goes off your DD must stop what ever she is doing to go to the potty. Then once she is comfortable at home check with the daycare and see if they will work with you using the timer that she will have, and then the same thing in the evening. Everyone must be following the same process so that your DD will not get confused. Once she has gone a week set up another rewards chart for something that she picks out for being a big girl and using the potty. I hope that helps. Please keep us updated on your DD progress.

Hello Jane, while I have not heard of the timer watch before, other than regular alarm watches I think this is a good idea.

I agree with Christina on getting rid of the pull-ups,buy her a few pares of thicker cloth training pants and around a dozen pair of plastic panties,( not the all-in-ones).

Around the house, you can try the naked method, let her run around the house naked for a few hours at an opportune time, this will let her know what happens when she gets "those" feelings.

When going outside the house, she will wear the plastic panties over the trainers with a few extras for accidents.

If you wish to give this a try for a week, then let us know her reactions,we can see if more is needed.

Many Blessings.
