My son is almost three and we are in the process of potty training. He knows when he has to pee, and will go in the potty, but here is the situation. He learned how to pee standing up. He relaxed his bladder better when standing, so we went with it. Now I am concerned that BM training will be next to impossible. Should I have him sit to pee until he figures out how to poop? He has a regular time, but will have an extra BM every now and then.

Thank you in advance.

Yep! Boys should never learn to stand until they get the pooping part down pat. Have him SIT on the potty and learn to relax with a book or video, especially at poop time. If your child starts to have an accident, get him on the potty, even if he's 1/2 way through.
