Hi ladies :) I wrote a couple months ago about trying to teach my 2 yr old daughter to potty train. Well we are almost there!

But I need help,I dont know what to do next. She is very excited and motivated to potty train! She loves wearing her big girl panties and talks about them all day lol. She loves siting on the potty her "self" She also loves teaching her 'baby" to use the potty as well, so i know she is almost there. But.....She will run to sit on the potty, we read and wait a few mintues...nothing. The mintue she gets up she PEES ON FLOOR :/ She even helped me wipe up her mess today :) so cute....I think its just a matter of her "letting go" and using her muscles to pee. I dont kno how to help her do this...Any advice would be geat girls :) thanks

You can't, really... she just has to keep at it! Keep encouraging her to make it, and she'll get it. It's just a matter of practice at this point! Congrats on getting through the worst of it... convincing them it's a good idea!

Welcome back Loretalovesherchef.

There are a couple of things that might help, one is to let her run around the house naked from the waist down, this will help her not only understand the need to go,but in some cases, will help her learn how to release.

Does she use a small potty chair or the toilet, with or without a smaller ring?

does she use a stool for her legs if using the toilet? This helps many times as dangling legs can hinder the muscles.

Has she shown any interest in being alone in the bathroom?

These are a few of the things that come to mind at this time,If you will answer these,we can give you some other idea's if needed.

We have both the ring attachment with stool and her potty chair but she has mostly been practicing on her potty chair.

she does sit on her potty chair alone sometimes :) its in htel iving room though, not in the bathroom, since she is still learning the holding the pee part haha
