Hi and welcome! You say that he wears a Pull-Up at daycare. Would she be willing to follow a schedule? If you can have him sit on the potty after each meal, before and after nap..and so on,he might get the hang of it faster.
Does he take medicine for his constipation? I ask because you could try giving the medicine at night to have a BM first thing in the morning. (unless the medicine is very effective causing him to go in the night)
Your son sounds like he is the exact same age as my youngest, and we are having the same problems with him. Boys in general are harder to train. My oldest DS was 4 before he was out of Pull-ups. My second DS was completely trained by 3, never to have an accident. It just depends on the willingness of the child.
Sounds like you are on the right track, just stay patient and he will get it. HTHs.

Sorry you are having troubles with your DS's training. I'm currently training my DD, so I don't really have any advice. However, I wanted to tell you that my step-cousin was 4 before she was trained. Her twin sister was trained many months before her. She was just really stubborn and refused to use the potty. Their doctor told them to just throw out all the pull-ups and diapers and make her clean up her own mess if she peed or pooped in her diaper. She was trained in 1 day!

Hi Nicole and welcome. Thanks for the added support and advice! Hope to see you around. How is your daughter doing with her training?
