Hello jlcpet

At three years of age,she has a pretty good idea what she is doing, yes,it could very well be the pregnancy that is a cause, she has also figured out that it is becoming work to keep going to the potty when you are just as handy to change her instead of stopping play to go.

First, take here shopping for her own "big girl panties",her favorite character panties, and get about a dozen pair of plastic panties to go over them.

Keep pushing the fact she is the older sister and you are going to need her help in looking after her siblings, you have her help in brining you diapers, wash cloths and so on.

Please give these ideas a try and see how she reacts.

Please let us know her responses.

jlcpet, Hi and welcome to the Toilet Teaching board.

The previous posters had some great ideas. Your DD needs some extra encouragement. Everything is changing around her. Many will recommend holding off on training until after the baby arrives and things settle down. Take her shopping allow her to pick out her own big girl underwear, and maybe a new outfit for her to wear after using the potty for a week. Just keep reassuring her through the process. You know your DD the best, and you do what you feel will help her the most. Please keep us updated on your DD progress.

Thank you for the update. It sounds as thought your DD is off to a great start.

I totally agree with you on the characters on the underwear, disney should make all the characters for both girls and boys. I don't know how many times I have had to explain to my boys they can't wear Dora underwear.
