Pee smell in Bathroom

I'm currently potty training my ds. and he is getting better at his aim but what i need is a way to either prevent the miss besides the cherrios in the toliet. he won't tell me he is going just doing it when i don't prompt him. or a way to get the smell that is already there out. i have to go in eveyday and wipe everything around the toilet down w. the extreme preggo smell not exactly fun.

My son tried standing up for a while, because daddy does.

I totally understand! I have to wipe my toilet down everyday as well. I have Riley sit down sometimes just for that reason. Little boys get distracted easily and really don't watch what they are doing. If you have him sit, tho, be careful of the space between the seat and the bowl. Tee-tee can sneak through there! If that happens, have him sit backwards on the toilet. HTHs
