Pees in Panties..Constantly!!

My DD just turned 2 and we have been working on PT for a long while.She has the pooping in the potty down. goes every time. but if she is wearing panties, she just pees where ever she happens to be standing/sitting. she just doesn't seem to care. When she does pee in her panties she will take them off and go get a dry pair. This happens no matter how many times We scold her for going in her pants, praise her for going on the potty, or take her every ten minutes. I am beginning to wonder if I should just let her stay in pull ups a while longer even though she takes them off once they are wet. What do you think? could she have a problem or is it just stubborness?

hello mom2gabez.
at 2 years of age,it could be any reason,having the poop issue down pat as you mentioned,it may be that she does not get the right feelings,which you should have checked by her doctor,there are child medical problems that may cause this.
May I suggest,you use plastic panties over her underpants to try and help save the furniture until you find out for sure.
Going back to pull-ups will only tell her it is ok to use them,and she may return to using them for poop as well.
If she pee's to much for the plastic panties to hold,try thicker cloth training pants instead of the light panties.
please keep use informed as to what you try and I will see if there is anything else to try.

Have you tried just letting her go nude to see what happens. I only ask because I posted below that my DS will only pee (and poop) on the potty if he is naked from the wast down. As soon as I put a pair of underwear on him he will wet in them. For whatever reason he does not want to go on the floor... thank goodness. May be worth trying?
Good luck! We are on spring break this week, so I'm going to try to do the naked thing for 3-4 days and then reintroduce the underwear to see what happens.
