beachgirllc07, Hi and welcome to the Toilet Teaching board.

Potty training takes time and something that you do not want to force as that can cause problems down the road. Your DS is still young, and may be showing signs that he is getting ready for the next step. My suggestions to help get to the next step would be check with your local library and see if they have any books (ex Potty Time), and or dvds (ex Elmo's Potty Time). Read and watch the dvds many times, it will help reinforce what he should be doing once he is ready. Another suggestion is if there are kids older then him that are potty trained if he could spend some time with them. I hope that helps. Please keep us updated on your DS progress.

Hello Beachgirl, along with Christina's great ideas, you might like to try the naked method.

After morning bath, let him run around naked for a couple of hours, this will let him see what is happening when he gets those feelings.

You might also try using cloth training pants for during the day,I think you will find he will not be so fast to not want to be changed.

when you go out or have company, just put plastic pants on over the trainers to help contain accidents.

please keep use up-dated on his reactions.

Many Blessings.
