Is she ready? So confused....

My daughter is 27 months old (as of today). A couple weeks ago, I took away her diapers for 24 hours and just put her in the trainer panties / plastic pants. Miranda is capable of staying dry for a couple hours at a time and often time wakes up dry from her naps. She likes to sit on her potty and will do so happily for quite a long time! Our record was 2 hours with only a 5 minute break in between that she happily and willingly sat on the potty. (She asked to as well.) But, there was nothing produced. When she was in her trainers, she would pee every half hour in them and had 3 poop accidents within that 24 hour period. She's been pooping on a schedule since she was 6 months old, so I'm so confused by this! She's not sick or anything. It didn't seem to bother her at all that her panties were dirty either. She frequently asks to sit on the potty still, even though she's back in diapers but has never gone on the potty. She follows me everywhere, so she's seen what I do on the potty, she loves to read books about potty time and watches Elmo's Potty Time on almost a daily basis. I don't want to do pull-ups as they are expensive and not worth it IMHO.

So, I just don't know what I should do. I have a week long vacation coming up the last week of July so I'd love for her to start actively PT'ing then. I firmly believe that she IS ready but that she just doesn't get how to relax enough to go on the potty. I've tried distracting her by reading books, coloring, etc... I've tried asking her to fart. We tell her to push and make our "pooping" faces. lol Nothing. My daughter LOVES positive reinforcement and I think that once she goes on the potty and sees the HUGE deal that I'm going to make out of it that it will just click for her. (I could be wrong too, but that's what I'm hoping at this moment.) She knows the rewards she'll get. Stickers, M&M's, clapping, etc...

Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I'm not doing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi - Funny, I have the opposite problem... my little guy won't go at all when he is in underwear.

Good day.

have you tried the naked method?let them run around the house for a couple of hours a day and keep an eagle eye on them, and as soon as you see they are ready to go,pick them up and place them on the potty, even if they only get a bit in it,go the high fives and make a big deal of it.

instead of going back to diapers or pull-ups,(both of which delay training a great deal ),stay with the panties and put plastic panties over them even when going out, this way,the plastic panties will hold most of the accident and be uncomfortable.

I do believe you will find the reason for the regression is that they have found out, that it is taking time away from play time, and as you will change them when they are ready, why bother .
