Showing all the signs...

My daughter is only 17 months old, and she is showing all the signs of potty training readiness already. She knows what the potty is for and loudly announces it when anyone goes to the bathroom (LOL). She holds her pee for hours and doesn't pee when she is awake. She usually pees within the first 20 minutes of a nap and wakes herself up. If she starts to pee when awake she stops herself and announces that she went pee-pee. She will even tell me that she needs to go poo before she goes or she will run off and hide for a minute. But if I try to sit her on the potty either before a nap or when she tells me she has to pee or poo she usually just gets right up and runs away or will sometimes sit there and listen to a book, but won't actually go in the potty. She will just keep holding it until nap time. What do I do? I know she is young and I don't want to force her to use the potty or to make it a struggle. But at the same time I don't want to pass up this opportunity if she is ready. Is it possible she has the ability to hold her pee, but not to actually voluntarily release it?

Thanks to momma_schim for the siggy!

That's awesome that she is doing that much at such a young age!
