i am starting to train ds on wednesday!!! i have very high hopes! i am using the method from "oh crap potty training". the best part this time around is that i haven't made any of the "mistakes" that i did w/ my dd's. i am hoping for the best and that he will figure thing out and get the hang of it quickly. he has already, multiple times, gone into the bathroom lifted the lid pulled down his pants and grunted over and over for me to help him on. he WANTS to!

i am so excited!!! the thought of training easily and in a matter of days??? hardly believable, but i hope possible!!!

That's wonderful. I first posted on Tuesday night, yesterday was our fist day. She did great, no accidents, even told me once she had to go (while eating lunch). In the evening, she stopped playing and went to use the potty, yeah.

Today not so good, but we had to do errands, put potty seat in back of van, she sat on it with no luck. Sat on regular toilet in Whole Foods, no luck. Then she got mad about wanting something I said no to and she wet herself. We changed in the bathroom came home, no action since then.

I didn't scold or get mad at her, just reinforced that we are wearing underwear now and she should tell me right when she needs to go.

So it's obvious to me after today's accident that she is holding it until she can't hold it any longer. Hope that's not an issue in the long run.
