Some suggestions, PLEASE!

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me. My daughter will be 3 in about a week and we've run into some potty issues. We started in our big girl pants on Monday and she did great! I picked her up from daycare and she was in the same clothes - no accidents. Same thing Tuesday and Wednesday. Now today, she spent the day with my MIL and she's gone in her pants 4 times!! It doesn't seem to bother her either! Any ideas?? We're rewarding her when she goes on the potty and
Hello jennidolfin.
It sounds like she has figured out that she does not have to take time from play to use the potty,MIL may have just let her play and changed her when she was done playing.
Take her to the store and ask her if she wants to wear plastic panties, let her feel a pair and let her know,if she wants to keep wetting her panties, she is going to have to start using them.
This is not punishment,it is consequences, very seldum does this method take long to work.
I hope this helps.
Many Blessings.
Mac
Thanks for the idea...I don't know if she was maybe just asking her to go too much. She said she made her go in the bathroom every 20 minutes or so. I normally ask her to go in once an hour and it seems to be more than sufficient. The same thing at daycare. She went on Friday and was dry all day. Then back to my MIL on Saturday and she wet her pants 2 times and pooped once! I don't want to offend my MIL though, she does me a great favor by watching her when she does. I think it's more of an issue with the schedule at my MIL. We were out all day today at a family outing (2 hour car ride even) and she was fine, so....anyway, we'll see how she does at daycare the next 2 days.
Thanks again!!
jennidolphin, Hi and welcome to the Toilet Teaching.
My first suggestion would be to tell your MIL what the process you are doing, so that she can do the same. This way there is no confusion, as everything is the same. You can have your MIL have your DD help clean up after an accident. I hope that helps. Please keep us updated on your DD progress.
