ok,with Rebekah, the next few times she comes to you, take her back to the bathroom and show her the proper method.if she continues to"forget",put her in the shower and clean her up with cool water, and ask her if this is better or would she like to try herself to be clean?
This is not being mean,it is just to take a bit more time and get her interested in remembering to try herself.
as for Elisabeth, the first thing is to find out if she is afraid of the sounds of the flushing,if this is not the problem, just keep taking her back into the bathroom and tell her to flush it or she will remain there till she does.
If anyone else thinks of anything, please let us know.
Had some luck today, Mac. The little one wiped herself and flushed, and we rewarded her the way we did when initially potty training... she REALLY likes marshmallows. :)
This is one of those areas that I have a bit of a problem with,I have had some success with this problem, but as my way of training is old fashioned and in many cases classed as to harsh by todays standards,I have to hope someone from todays eara will have a new approach.
Just in case, for one week,I would not allow her to resume her playing
