Black Friday is one of my favorite days of the year (weird, I know!). Anyone else like to shop on Black Friday? Have you found any great deals yet that you'll be after that day?

I tend to avoid shopping on Black Friday, however when I was growing up my parents & I would spend Thanksgiving with one of my older brothers and his family every year. My father, brother, nephew, and I would all catch a movie together either on Thanksgiving Day or on Black Friday.
Back in 2009 and again in 2010 on Black Friday my wife, daughter, and I did venture to our local mall to get Christmas pictures taken at PicturePeople. After 2010 we vowed we'd never do that again.
A few years ago my wife's cousin came over from England because he wanted to experience an American Thanksgiving. We jokingly told him after Thanksgiving Dinner that the next morning we'd be getting up at 3 or 4 am for all the Black Friday sales. We didn't end up subjecting him to the insanity of Black Friday, although in hindsight I kind of wish we had... just so he could have seen it first hand.
It's one of my favorite days of the year too!
It's one of the few times DH and I get to go shopping by ourselves which makes it extra fun.
I haven't checked out any of the ads released yet- need to get started!
