One of the most embarrassing things my son did was point to a man at the store and yell "DADDY!". I could have died! At that stage he thought everyone who had a goatee and wore glasses was his daddy. It took everything in me not to go up to the guy and say "really, we do know who his dad is... promise!". :)

I have a few from my 3 year old son.

The sweetest thing was when we were in a playgroup and one of my son's friends started to cry. My son said, "Luke, why are you crying? I am your friend" and hugged him.

Most embarrassing is a tie. Once my son and I were waiting on the train platform and it started to rain. An african american couple came up with plastic bags on their heads and my son very loudly proclaimed, "They have garbage hats!" They seemed to think it was funny, but I could have died!

The other was while we were riding the train. A young girl in a tight shirt came and stood not far from my son and my son decided to inform me that "That girl has little breasts. You have big breasts, mommy." I don't think she heard, but another woman sitting nearby was stifling giggles.

Something else - I was shopping one day and cut through the women's underwear department and my son pointed to some bras and said, "Those are for your breasts." I said "yes they are" and thought that was that. My son then proceeded to pull on the neck of my shirt yelling "I NEED TO SEE YOUR BREASTS!" for the next 5 minutes until i could find something to distract him.

Oh my goodness! Your son is way too cute. I can imagine these were very embarrassing at the time but isn't it funny how they say exactly what they are thinking when they are thinking it? Too funny!
