My 2 year old has a horrible case of diaper rash,it's almost even blistering.

Um, we've used neosporin...it helps "protect" but it also won't burn (and it heals too :)...it's kind of an "expensive" diaper rash cream, but it clears it right up...if it doesn't go away, it might need a prescription, but I've always had good luck with neosporin (or the generic or polysporin...)

Also, I will often slap an "old school" pre fold cloth diaper on them (the ones I keep around for burp cloths)...it helps the skin breathe but will "protect" most of your furniture. They're cheap at walmart, and they usually have the pins for them...They always say "leave the diaper off" but I'm too afraid of pee or poop getting on stuff.

If you're using store bought wipes,I'd stop. My daughter had a bad rash and

My DD once had a really bad case of diaper rash that was a challenge.

I agree with PPs but also wanted to ask if you're sure it's just a diaper rash and not a yeast infection? A lot of times those diaper rash ointments will burn like the dickens if it's yeast...just a thought.

DS gets it really bad off and on. We use calamine lotion mixed with diaper rash cream.
