can anyone reommend starter activities free online for my toddler grandson?
There are computer keyboards available now with coloured keys (numbers, vowels, letters) - ones that prevent children from inadvertantly doing terrible things to your computer, too, so I'm looking forward to his involvement.

Thanks for your help.

Sesame street has some cute games.
I recommend toddler: keyboard-o-rama, toddler: peek-a-boo, and toddler: sounds around town. They are all on page six in the browse games section.

Kid Key lock will protect him from accessing your admin files and deleting anything while he is playing, we start out with baby smash, love starfall and have recently began playing Headsprout (which I am amazed at how fast my 3 year old is learning to read!!!)

I blogged about it at: http://quirkymomma.com

If you find more programs let me know!

Logan used to love them. He's 3.5 now and they are slow paced for him.. but loved them when he was 2! :)

Oh, what a cool idea! I think I'll let my daughter use my old computer. One time she messed up my laptop and I couldn't figure out how to fix the screen for hours! Everything was sideways, lol!
