I think it is an extreme case of sibling rivalry...she is really working on testing your boundaries so she can be sure you will always love her. I don't have a lot of advice other than there are some good books you can read with her...Also, be consistent with your discipline. Even though you "understand" the reasons behind her acting out, it doesn't make that behavior acceptable, ever. I know it'll be hard especially since you have the baby, but consistent time outs immediately for ANY infraction of the rules...Finally, try and make her involved in helping with the baby...give her jobs that make her feel important. Let her pick out what the baby will wear, make her the "wipe holder" anything that teaches her how to be a big sister...

DD is approaching three and she is definetly pushing her limits mostly with DS {18 months}. i feel like somedays she spends most of the day on timeout. DS sits with her on her time out it takes all I have not to give in or laugh. When she does something good I try to make a big deal about it but we have a run of bad days lately.
