HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Okay, so my 3 yr old has been waking up...and waking the entire household up...at 3am Every Morning for about a month now. This includes his 1 1/2 yr old brother who he shares a room with. To answer an obvious question, no we do not have an extra bedroom so they have to share a room. My concerns are (besides an obvious lack of sleep) this is defiantly becoming/has become a sort of routine, and I am afraid that this will not only mess up his inner clock but my other sons as well. And when I say every night , I mean EVERY NIGHT. I am 8 mo. pregnant and I am exhausted! I expected this with the newborn but not yet, lol, and not from my 3 yr old. I dont want to let this continue, and I have no idea what to do. If I put him back in his bed, he cries loudly, (again, waking people up) but if I take him to the couch he starts fiddling with his blankets and keeps himself...and me... awake for hours, same story if I take him to bed with me.

Wow, that's a difficult situation for all of you. Maybe you could make a family room or living room into a night room for your son - take out anything dangerous, childproof the room, and let him leave his bedroom and go to the night room when he wakes at night - just to have a place to go away from your other LO, maybe with books and soft toys so he has something to occupy his mind, and a makeshift bed he could fall back to sleep on at his own pace, such as a big quilt or air mattress or whatever -something you could fold up during the day so that your night room converts back to a family room during the day. Just a thought. Or else ask the pediatrician, because maybe there's something going on with him that is health related? GL!
