DS(age 2 years) and I went to Mommy and me. He was the only boy. Teacher was singing little tea pot and he was totally bored. He liked the dancing and the instruments but most of the class he just threw himself and screamed. DD was tough to keep focused but nothing like DS.
Should I give up and quit or find another class he might actually like. I am trying to find music class. This class was a lot of following the teacher with no music.

I did the same class with Logan when he was two.. and we stopped going half way through. He was really shy... and would only participate if I carried him.. which defeated the purpose. For Logan, at least, its better to have quiet activities that he can do next to other children without having to interact with them right away. I think the loud music and large movements freaked him out. Maybe you could find something with one instrument.. or something with a smaller class?

DS wants to dance to the music when the music is off there is no interest at all. the teacher changed the time now I have a babysitting issue. Rather then have me drop out teacher offered to let DD come to class (so much for Mommy and me) so this week I will have DD and DS. Maybe if she follows he will too. Now its mommy and us.
