~~~~~~~~~~~~MONDAY RECIPE OF THE WEEK~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week our Monday recipe is from me(LOL) cl-foxymomof2:
Apple Brownies(my sweet tooth has taken over today)
1 stick of butter
1 egg
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 small/medium apples; peeled and chopped
Mix butter, egg and sugar together. Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and apples. Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes in a 13X9 inch pan.
Very simple and the kids love them(moms do too)!
ENJOY!
Ya know...I typically only buy the Red and Delicious so haven't really experimented with any other type of apples. I will say probably the ones that tend to be sweeter rather than the tart ones...I love the Green apples however they do tend to be a little on the tart side!
