DS is 3 but this has been going on since he was almost 2. Everything is NO and then screaming. I just ignore it but it really does get on my nerves. By 7pm at night I am sick of the time outs.

What to do?

Oh, isn't that a fun stage? ;) I think I'd just continue to do what you are doing. I would use the supernanny method- put him in time out each time he does the behavior and ignore any crying, etc. Once his time out is over, have him explain what he did that earned him a time out. It is exhausting, but hopefully (fingers crossed), he'll figure it out soon enough. Hang in there!

We have been doing that and we are getting no where. He rather sit on time out for 15 minutes then say "Sorry". I just keep doing the time out till he says. Its like a test of will? who's is stronger his or mine. Then in the middle of all that DD (4years old) has to tease. She hates time outs not DS he is fine to sit there and and will keep saying "NO"
