Poop Question (sorry!!)

So.. for the past week or so, Logan's poop has been green. Not just green tinted. Like someone doused it in food coloring and it starts to turn the water green too. I knew he had been eating a couple of "green" cupcakes at daycare - but a week apart for birthdays... so I shrugged it off (and it started happening right near St Patricks day) - but even daycare mentioned it today. Is this something I should be concerned about? Its the oddest thing....

Artificial dyes (not just green) can turn the poop green. With my kids, I've noticed the problem the most after certain multi-colored cereals.

Is your ds otherwise feeling well? If so, it's probably not a serious problem. Here's a link to some more info about possible causes of green poop and when to be concerned. http://www.greenpoop.org/

Thanks everyone... I think I narrowed it down to the "Opps all berries" Capt Crunch that Logan eats in the morning before daycare. It didn't occur to me that previously we had been buying the regular type with the yellow pieces in it.... so that was a big change. Makes me want to remove that from his diet!

Logan also likes the Trix yogurt. Perhaps I'll switch him for that too. He really likes it.. but I might be able to get him off of it...

DD (3) poop was reddish( like blood) I was in a panic told DH I was rushing her in to Dr. DH tells me he let her eat and entire bag of dried cranberries. Called Dr he told me that will do it and sure enough next poop was normal. Call Dr.
