I started putting my daughter on th potty at 1 1/2 yrs when she randomly wanted to go. She now wears panties all day including naps. Anyone have any tips to get her out of her nighttime diaper without her peeing the bed every night?

How does she do at night now? Does she wake up dry or is she wet? In my experience, it seems to be a maturing issue as to when they can stay dry at night. I think their little bladders are so small that holding it all night can be tough until their bodies have matured a bit.

If you think she's ready to night train, I'd recommend cutting off liquids in the evening and take her to the bathroom right before bed. You may also try to wake her up to make another potty trip before you go to bed at night. Some people also set an alarm to make a middle of the night bathroom break so it may be something to consider.

Right now she wakes up wet but I also let her take a sippy cup to bed. So I'm thiinking starting tonight we will start slow and do no cup in bed cut drinks 30 min before bed and do potty trip before. Still have her wear a diaper for a week or so till she starts waking up dry. What do u think??

With my son, we waited until he started waking up dry for a few weeks. Then he asked us to wear underwear to bed. He was about 2 3/4. Now, we've reverted to pull-ups as he's having some pooping issues, but anyway, he stays dry at night.
