My child is 3 1/2 and I am considering preschool and I am asking for advice and suggestions. I am a walmart employee so our income is not much lol.

I can only speak to my local area and experience, but the childcare center/preschool that my DD attends has several options for preschool. They do a MWF class (mornings only for 2.5 hours) and a TTh class (again for 2.5 hours). My DD goes there for childcare, and come the middle of August will start going to preschool MWF as well (she'll start the day in childcare, go to preschool for the 2.5 hours, then return to childcare - I teach and go back to work early in August). They do preschool based on the local school district's schedule so time off is the same for kids at preschool and older kids. I know for childcare they have scholarships available and may as well for preschool, I don't know. Obviously the two day a week classes are cheaper than 3 days a week. I might look around and see what is available in your area and what prices are. Around here most places have similar pricing. Maybe ask around at work and see if anybody has taken their kids to a program they liked. You should be able to go observe a class or at least talk to the people running it and see if it seems like a good fit.

In our state you can get public preschool for free if you meet income requirements or if your child qualifies for special ed. Contact your home school district and inquire there first.

DD(4) and DS(2 almost 3) both go to a local church preschool. DD 3 mornings a week and DS 2 mornings a week both 2.5 hours.
Our township has preschool for 4 year olds its 5 mornings 2.5 hours buts its expensive. There is no 3 days option 5 days or nothing.
The church is cheaper but we have to pay whole tuition prior to start of school. The township lets you pay monthly.

We are putting my 3 1/2 year old in her first year of preschool in the fall. We found that our local elementary school has a preschool class for free, but you are entered into a lottery. Also, look into churches in your neighborhood. We found a great one for pretty reasonable ($130 for 2 1/2 days a week). They go from September to June.
