What time does your 2/3 year old go to bed at night?  Do you have a regular routine that you follow at bedtime?

Ugh, we are so out of sync with bedtime right now its not even funny. Ideally she should be in bed no later than 8:00. It really depends on what time we get home at night, but ideally I like to have dinner, let them play for a bit or watch 1 TV show, then we do bath time every other night, PJ's, a book, brushing teeth and then off to bed.

Landon goes to bed at 8 but man, it has been a struggle here lately. I've been having to go into him several times a night and he isn't actually falling asleep until after 10. He's up by 6 each morning so I'm getting a bit concerned that he isn't getting enough sleep (hence his bad mood lately!).

Madison ideally needs to get up at 5:45, and she is not a morning person at all! Its been closer to 9 most nights around here all summer, and her teacher at school definitely says she konks right out at nap time and sleeps the entire time. On the weekends she'll easily take a 3 hour nap if I let her.

It's hard to get them to bed early during the summer months when it is still so light outside! Hopefully the coming fall and the fact that it gets darker earlier will help. Landon loves his naps too and it does affect his bedtimes when he has a late one. I've even had to wake him up so he doesn't sleep too late a few times here lately (hate doing that!).

Awww, what a cutie! It sounds like you've figured out a great routine. Don't you just love reading the same books over and over (and over again!)? LOL

Hopefully he'll get attached to a few other books for a while. And maybe the potty training one will encourage him in that area too!
