Please someone help me!
Thank you so much.
I rarely post here, but I'm a big time lurker. My baby is 2 and a half, and yes, it was like someone flipped a switch. We went from blissful days of just saying, "Please stop (behavior)", to tantrums for.no.reason.whatsoever.
I thought "what am I doing wrong?" I am a SAHM, so I knew it wasn't day care related, or a change in routine. Finally, after talking about this with many "mama" friends, they told me it was just one of those things... and we're still dealing with it 3 months later.
We'll go a day with ZERO timeouts, just a happy toddler, to the next day, with 6 timeouts before 10:30 AM. She throws toys, will pinch me (!!), will sling her lunch off the plate, get mad because I turn off the TV, or turn ON the TV... you name it. The next day might be the same routine with absolutely zero issues.
Frankly, it's driving me crazy, so you aren't the only one. I've been assured this goes away, and I have high hopes, but I am anxiously awaiting a change. Good luck! (And I'm SO glad to know it isn't just me. Sorry I have no advice, but rest assured, you aren't the only one).
