Thanksgiving- Are You Cooking?

No, this is a newer development. I have had some health related issues and had decided to go mostly non-processed foods, but what ones I do make that aren't fruits, veggies, meat I am trying to go gluten free. But I also decided on that to see what difference it may make with the middle one's ADD type behavior. ADD runs in the family and I really wanted to try some natural things first before deciding whether medication may be on the horizon. Its been harder and easier than I thought it would be. My oldest hates me for it. LOL! I haven't had too much problem myself going gluten free which was surprising because I am a huge carb/sugar addict. Emma, the one I am doing it mainly for, has had a bit of a hard time IRT breads mostly, lunches. I pack all her lunches, and make her gluten free bread and am working on trying the different gluten free snacks, but I haven't went all the way to making her go 100% yet, as they are provided breakfast in their classroom free as well as snacks in the afternoon from the parents. Most of the breakfasts are all whole grain things like pancakes, kolaches, waffles, etc. and she really likes eating breakfast with her classmates. And then snacks tend to be all gluten based. Thoughts?? Between the gluten free that we have done and the few natural supplements and digestive enzymes I am giving her, I am seeing some slow progress with her behavior and focus. So do the rest of you go gluten free also all the time? I know all I've read talks about making sure there's no cross contamination in the house. What do you do for school? I printed out a recipe for stuffing yesterday, I'll have to hunt it down again. Its got Julian's Paleo Bread - Almond in it. It says I can get the loaf of bread at the Natural Grocery near us, so I was going to have DH pick me up a loaf hopefully tomorrow to try that recipe and see how it works out. http://www.julianbakery.com/bread-product/paleo-bread-almond/
