When the older ones are in school (so you have more attention) you could just try the old "no-pants" for the day trial and see how it goes!

I wouldn't push him - I think that could just set you back and make it unpleasant for him (and drive you crazy).

Someone once told me that if you start potty training at 2, you'll be done at 3 and if you start potty training at 3, you'll be done at 3. I'd just let it go and try again in a few months, if he isn't mentally prepared for it as well as physically ready, it's just going to stress you both out!
