Trick-or-Treating- Yay or Nay?

Will you be taking your 2/3 year old trick-or-treating this year? If so, will it be the traditional door-to-door type or will you participate in a trunk-or-treat (or something similar)?

We have a decent sized neighborhood that has a decent amount of kids, but hardly anyone gives out candy and its discouraging at times! But I don't want to have to go to another neighborhood, and we live outside of town, which means we'd have to into town to find a neighborhood to Trick or treat at, which I feel weird about doing. So the little ones and I will go around our neighborhood, hit the dozen houses out of 3-4 dozen houses that are there and be done with it. It ends up being the perfect amount for them as it is, just get scrooge-ish about it some years.
