DD started at 3 1/2 and DS started at 3. But both only did two mornings a week for 2 1/2 hours. Neither had ever been with anyone besides me or DH. They were fine I needed the reassurance.

Probably at 4. His daycare does a lot of educational type stuff so it is mainly the classroom setting i am concerned he needs to get used to.

I think they always do better than we worry they will do! Two days a week is a great option- and perfect for this age! How did you decide upon a preschool?

Hi Kristy,

That's great that they already do so many educational activities already! Will he continue with preschool at the daycare center or will you take him someplace else for pre-K?

He isnt at a center. his dcp just used to work at the one he started at. the one other litttle girl he is with startd there too. it is the perfect combination of home care/individual attention (they call her auntie) and center based training.

Sounds like a great setting (and sounds like she's a great care provider)!

When we were considering moving, losing her potentially was a big deterent.

I can totally understand that! It is hard to trust someone with your children. Once you find that person you trust, it would be hard to let them go!
