My husband got this great job and we will be relocating. The problem is that the house we want (dream house so it isn't a big problem) will have to be built so we will be in a corporate apartment for up to 8 months!!!

Well, we will only be able to bring an assortment of things, including toys.

HELP!! How do I decide what to bring? He is 2 1/2 now and by the time we move into the house, he will be over 3. Do I bring the toys that he will be growing out of or just sell them now and start with the toys that are for about a 3 year old?

Anything else I should know for this "temporary" housing? We will be able to bring his bed, but no other furniture.

This has already affected his wonderful potty training efforts. He went from virtually no accidents to at least one a day.

I would take his favorites - the 2 or 3 that he always plays with and a few small others. And books! I think I'd get rid of the ones that he hardly plays with now and the ones that he will definitely outgrow by the time you move into the house. The rest just pack up. In 8 months, they will be like brand new toys! Of course 8 months from now, it will be Christmas too. If he gets really bored with what you have you can always buy some new stuff that he doesn't have at all.
