Ready to give it another try!

(Little back story)

My name is Michelle and I am 34 years old.  My husband and I have been trying for 5 years to get pregnant with our first child.  We tried in 2011 with Clomid/Ovidrel for 3 cycles.  Since my insurance does not pay for the ultrasounds we took some time off after 3 rounds to pay off the debt.  All three times I did have follicles that matured and was able to trigger ovulation.

I am diagnosed with PCOS (since 2011) and had a D&C done in 2012 to remove excess uterine lining due to a build up that was causing me to have a period for 64 straight days.  Since 2012, I have have normal periods (32 days apart for me).   I have decided I want to give it another try with Clomid/Ovidrel since everything seems good right now.

I am a little nervous as I am getting older but I am seeing my RE on 10/31 to do another round.  I really want this to work but I also know it can fail again.

Any tips????

I am starting hypnotherapy and acupunture during my next try.

Wife and I tried for 5 years to have our first including Clomid, and nothing worked until our 5th round of IVF, for which we traveled to Los Angeles. We were convinced we couldn't conceive on our own, so after our twins were born we went without birth control and, you guessed it we got pregnant. My point? Stick with it, it is DEFINITELY worth it although it felt like hell going through it. And, don't assume you can't get pregnant on your own if infertility is what finally provides your first :) Good luck, I wish you and your husband the best.
