Twins! Heard two heartbeats! WOW! This is real!

Things that surprised me:

1. The dr and nurses and ultrasound tech were all so excited to see me today because they had all been watching my blood tests. I mean they were ecstatic. It was sweet :)

2. Although my due date is Nov 29, the dr pointed out that she hopes I make it to 36 weeks (and wrote that date down). I guess it just hit me that this is risky business. Stuff could go wrong. I so want to feel safe and confident. When will that happen?

Twins! How exciting! Most Dr.'s won't let you go past 37 weeks with twins because they tend to get too big which can cause complications (not to mention there's only so much room in there!). I have a friend who is 22 weeks pg with twins, and

Awesome!!!! I am so I don't think the worry ever goes away. But do try and relax so you can enjoy every minute of your pregnancy.

While twin pregnancies have a higher risk than singletons, it's not *tons* higher, so most twin moms do fine and you'll get extra monitoring which should help you feel reassured.

Meanwhile, CONGRATS!!!! And CONGRATS again!!!!
