So, I was talking to my DH about this in the car ealier this week and he told me it was unfair of me to think that a women who is almost 60 shouldn't be doing DE IVF.

I guess if the woman is in good physical condition and her body is strong enough to handle a pregnancy, I wouldn't necessarily count her out for DE.

And I can just imagine hearing your husband making the point ... I'd probably want to slap him upside the head, lol!


I know what you mean about still valuing the "traditional" way of family building ... but for whatever reason, that way wasn't the way we've been able to do it, so we go w/ what we've got, and I know we're both eternally grateful for the opportunity!


I guess as a 42 year old I'm a little more sensitive about the age limit idea ... someone in the CT legislature has decided that, even though there should be a mandate for IF coverage, it only applies up to the age of 40.
