Hello everyone! These are such supportive boards, and everyone is so generous and willing to share their advice and experiences..it really is great.

Well, after almost 4 yrs TTC, failed IUIs, and 2 failed IVF's , DH and I are taking one last shot and moving on to DE at SG, using the shared risk program. I have the new patient appt next week. I am thinking I would prefer to use frozen egg, for two reasons: it seems a bit less complicated and quicker time-wise, and it would be a proven donor. In the consult, the dr. said there are advantages and disadvantages, and he recommends choosing a donor first and then deciding on fresh or frozen. My concern is whether there will be a very limited choice of donors using frozen, especially since we are doing the 1:3. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this? Also,

Ladies, for those who had the cancelled cycles (either because you were the tertiary recipient or the donor's eggs didn't mature) were you just out that cycle or did they not charge you for those cancelled cycles? I'm trying to figure out what to do. DH and I have been ttc #1 for almost 7 years. We've done IUIs and

I was part of the shared risk 1:3 program 6 cycle guarentee so when I was the tertiary recipient and my cycle was cancelled to donors eggs not maturing, it did NOT count against as a completed cycle. The following cycle I chose a new doner and was in the secondary position and that is the cycle I conceived my son.

Best of luck to you in your decision making process.
