For those that have done donor eggs. I have heard that all the fees can be used as deductions on the federal taxes.

We did a failed fresh cycle in 2009 and deducted the non-FSA costs as well as travel and the acceptable amount for hotels (I think that was $50 or something).

You can deduct everything including, the donor's drugs, stipend,

We paid all our stuff(except the medications) the last week of December.

Don't forget to start adding in all your other medical expenses from the year since the DE costs are so high Since our DE costs in 2010 are $28k after the $5k in FSA dollars we can also deduct eye exams, medication co-pays, doctor visit co-pays...everything. If you've gone over the percentage threshhold that allows you to deduct medical expenses, you should maximize the deduction.
