I am just wondering what sort (if any) of exercise others did during the wait after the transfer.

I swam for exercise starting maybe 5 days (?) after transfer. Swimming is great during pg bc it is low impact and makes you feel weightless :)

I am also a runner and I worked out like a madwoman right up until transfer. I parked my butt on the sofa until after we had the confirming u/s and then went back to lighter activity at the gym. I did walk & run (slower than normal) and do some light weightlifting up until about 5 1/2 or 6 months pregnant. I ended up stopping with the workouts because I had to go at 5:30 am because of my work schedule and I was just too exhausted. I did extra walking at work and made sure to walk around campus as much as I could for some exercise. I started runnimg again at about 7 weeksd post-partum (like 2 weeks ago)
