just got the call and we have 12 fertilized eggs! The doctor said they all look very good so far and he thinks we look good for a 3 day transfer, however this donor historically has 5 day transfers so I'm thinking it's going to be 5 days but we'll see. I'm just so happy we've made it past this hurdle. DH was concerned because he hasn't had the best swimmers. I'm just so relieved and grateful we've made it this far. Thank you for your support.

I think what happens is they watch them over the next couple days.

Wow, 12 is great. We had only five fertilized eggs out of 11. Three made it to 5-day blast stage, and we transferred one. That's all it took! Good luck to you!

- First attempt, single-embryo transfer - Success!

So, I'm a little unclear as to what can happen now. Will we most likely go to ET with 12 fertilized or do some fall out between now and then? I notice that most posters seem to have about 1/2 fertilize but I can't figure out how many are available for ET. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Carolyn
