Isabel Mom to Sebastian Robert after 3+ years of infertility
Hi and welcome!
I'm coming up on 42 and seem to have a similar issue w/ my eggs,
I agree, DE is a faster route, overall.
I'm at SG also and we drive from NC. I had 1 failed IVF and have good FSH for a 40 year old but my eggs don't fertilize well. My DH and I spoke with SG about possibly using DS if our first try failed. However, we only have slight issues so they were reluctant to try it on our first cycle. They, given your DH's medical issues, should have no problem with DS in your case ( my husband's nephew has a severe developmental autosomal dx).
They will work with you on your Factor V as well. They have me on 80 ccs of lovenox daily for mine. ( hate that shot). Overall, I've been extremely happy with them. They've bent over backwards to accomodate us ( we're both Active Duty military and gave tight schedules). I would say that it is a big clinic and you have be persistent and stay in constant communication with your nurse. I found email worked best.
Best wishes & welcome!Gab
IVF 1# ICSI & AH-BFN 04/08.
After too many failed natural cycles to mention, discover that previously clear tubes have become blocked after surgery to remove fibroids (however, no more fibroids). Decent FSH for 40 year old
Thanks for the welcome.
Thanks for the welcome and the info on SG.
