HI Girls,

I was just wondering, how many transfered more than 2 embroys?
I think my clinic wont transfer more than 2 if under the age of 33 and
embroy quality looks good.

Is that a big factor quality, or could we insisit on 3 because of this
being our only chance and really wanting it to work. Or would that
just be rasing my chances on multiplies and i should go by the quality?

thanks girls.

It's a tough call, isn't it? I'm 45, DH is 47, and this is our first IVF cycle, so obviously, we want it to work. At the same time, we don't want the risks associated with multiples. We're thinking of asking for a single embryo transfer for the fresh cycle, and if that doesn't work, getting more aggressive with FET. But that's assumuing we have embryos left to freeze. If we only end up with two or three blasts for this cycle, I'm not sure what we will do.

My advice?

Trust your doctor and the embryologist

VERY few high order multiples are from ivf type cycles. Most are from IUI with injectiables.

I know its hard to "give" this up to them but you have to believe they know best.

If the embryos were an A I'd probably do two

Anything beyond that I'd really have to trust my RE

I wouldn't do less than two though either
