I know that myself, Lauren, now Ann and probably Pixie are all either in cycles or about to be. Just wanted to start a little list going so we can all keep track of each. I just got my schedule last week and now Ann has hers too, so here is a little chart for us all to keep track. Hope we are all ON TRACK to big fat BFP's this summer!!! Saffe(Rana) transfer donor embies on July 8, still just on BCP's for now, Start Estrace on June 17th Lauren transfer donor embies on ? , still just on BCP's for now( I think) Next step? Anne transfer DE near July 24th, starting Lupron on June 25th Pixie transfer DE around? , meds now? Ladies, feel free to copy and update this as needed. That was just the info I knew/could find easily. We are all on our way!!

Great idea, Rana!

Rana (Saffe): transfer donor embies on July 8, still just on BCP's for now, Start Estrace on June 17th

Lauren (babynurse26): transfer donor embies on June 23, started lupron on 5/20 (ugghh, nauseous), stop BCP on 5/24, u/s on 6/2 to check for suppression

Ann (amh1769): transfer DE near July 24th, starting Lupron on June 25th

CityPixie transfer DE around? , meds now?

kkingok: injections 06/11; ultrasound 07/05- transfer 3-7 days later?

Love this idea Rana!!!! :) I'm trying to not get too excited because we all know how that can go - so many things can happen between now and transfer, but I have my moments where I can't stand it I'm so excited for us all!!!

What are you all nervous/anxious about? Have you all done the donor route before? Anything you can share as far as experience would be great for us newbies... I'm terrified of the Lupron - with my last IVF protocol, I was on MicroLupron and it was pretty mild. I've heard the headaches are killer with Lupron - ugh! And how are the hormone replacements? I see Rana you are doing Estrace - is that pretty standard? I haven't gotten my packet yet - should this week. Also - where do you all order your meds from? I always found Kohll's was the cheapiest online. Has anyone done the Europe thing? I know on this other site I'm on, the women there use www.ivfpharmacy.com and swear by it and it saves them thousands of dollars...

Looking forward to cheering you all on through your cycles and seeings lots of BFP's!!!!

I'm on day four of Lupron and I feel a little crazy. I'm taking 20units and I've never taken more than 10 in previous cycles. I am so teary and irritable and some days I'm starving and others I can't stand the sight of food. I just don't feel like myself =( On the bright side, I've never had the "lupron headaches" that I've heard so much about.

As far as meds go, for an FET it's only about $300 so I didn't really shop around. Just a little heads-up in case you didn't know, Lupron is in a national shortage, so you are kind of limited to pharmacies that have Lupron in stock. I called Freedom, Walgreens, and CVS and none of them had any so I went with Ascend, a compounding pharmacy that makes their own. The downfall to them is they require you to fill your entire order with them in order to get the lupron, so you can't shop the rest of your meds around.

As for me, I'm on Lupron and tonight is my last BCP. I have an u/s next week and I'm sure that's when I will start my estrogen.

Ann, yes I am EXTREMELY nervous!! This is the FIRST time I have done ANYTHING!! (well except clomid) I am hoping it is a one and done type thing. It IS going to work and then we are DONE. My clinic does not use Lupron either, so I have NO experience with that an am VERY grateful for it. I guess the estrace is typical?? It seems to be for the clinic I use. As far as pharmacies, I have been using Walmart, because that is what i typically use. We had an AWESOME surprise on Monday. DH had gotten one of those pharmacy discount cards in the mail with some books he ordered. We had been POSITIVE all along that my insurance would not cover the PIO, so we decided to see how much of a discount this card would give us per vial. At 37.84 a vial, we figured anything would be a help. When we got to the pharmacy and explained what we wanted, the tech asked if he should run it through ins first, and I said sure, but if it goes through you will be picking me up off the floor. (We were expecting to pay close to $150 for 4 vials) He ran the script and it went through!!! I paid 1.10 for 4 vials of PIO!! DH had jokingly stood behind me so I couldnt faint, but that didnt help pick my jaw up off the counter in shock!! I was nearly in tears I was so happy!! If all goes according to plan and we need all 5 refills, that just saved us about $750!! Funny enough my ins WONT pay for the syringes and needles, but oh well, thats $10 a refill. Thats certainly better than $150!! I JUST changed ins THIS MONTH too!! Wow am I glad I did!! My ins has actually covered all the other meds too. The only one I dont have is the progesterone suppositories and I will wait until right before I need those to get them fresh. So far I have only paid about $14 for my meds, syringes, needles etc. Oh and we bought a sharps container and alcohol pads, so maybe $20. It really seems like whenever we have something come up that might make this hard for us to do, something else comes along right away and fixes it. I truly believe that this is meant to be. Like my best friend always says "What's meant to be will always find a way......." After I start estrace on 6/17, I go until 6/30 and then I have b/w and u/s. Then as long as all is well I start PIO, progesterone suppositories, medrol and doxycycline on July 4th. I get excited just thinking about it!! I predict LOTS of BFP's in July and August!!

OMG - that is so crazy cheap!!! Woo Hoo - definite great surprise! Good for you guys - every little bit helps right? My first IVF with all my meds was around $3500 and insurance did not pay for it... So I'm expecting this round (paying for the donors meds and mine) to be around $4500... Gulp.

Ugh - I'm so sorry the Lupron is making you feel a little crazy... I'm glad you haven't gotten the headaches and hope that this "crazy" feeling goes away quick for you!!! And thanks for the heads up on the Lupron - I think I'll call Kohll's to see if they have it in stock!
