I have not, but I know someone that had to undergo a mini-psychological evaluation to make sure that she and her DH were ok with using donor sperm.

Do you know what you will be asked to talk about in the interview with the social worker?

We did, infact not only did we have to meet up with a phsychiatrist, but we also had to take a 2 hour test, inwhich i flunked an had to retake.

I think they just want to make sure the parents understand about it not being the womens biological child, and as long as the couple understands that and still welcomes the baby as their own then its a go.

At my clinic IVF florida, biggest clinic in florida, its manatory before you can even fill out the paperwork and begin the testing before selecting a donor.

Dont take it personal honey, its protocal with most clinics with de/ivf.

We were required to meet with a psychologist for our IVF cycles and prior to be put on the DE list to be matched by our RE (two different clinics).
