Hi!

My name is Jessica. I am 25 years old...soon to be 26 in April. My DH and I have done 3 rounds of IVF/ICSI and no success. Well, I should say the first time we did IVF/ICSI I had a chemical pregnancy then the other 2 were BFN. We are male factor infertility. My DH had a vasectomy after having 2 children with previous wife - unfortunately he didn't know his marriage would end up the way it did. He only wanted 2 children - so he had the vasectomy. Well 1 year after his divorce - he met me! To make a long story short - we had his vasectomy reversed and it didn't work so well. His counts are pretty low. Our last round of IVF/ICSI

Let me be the first to "officially" welcome you here! :)

Let us know how this all turns out! If it's meant to be, you'll get to use that donor. If not, that just means there's a better one out there!

Hi Jess!

Welcome to the board! I am 24 (25 next month) and I will be doing my first ICI at home at the end of February. I Know exactly what you mean about the donor you chose being the "one." I had been casually browsing donor profiles at different banks and hadn't been particularly struck by any of them. I had found some that seemed okay, but none that really moved me. Then I found my donor. Its hard to explain, but it was like someone reached into my head and pulled out everything that I was looking for, and a few things that I wasn't particularly looking for - but just make this donor even more perfect! Anyway, I had the same situation with him having a low availability while I was setting up my account. However, I was calling the bank every day to get his exact quantity still available. Then I lucked out and a friendly customer service agent told me that she could put a courtesy hold on some vials for me until I got my account set up. I really lucked out there, or I would be in the same situation as you. I am also on the waiting list for future releases, because my donor is now sold out as well. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you might want to ask your bank if they do that. I had no idea that mine did, until they told me. Good-luck. I'm sending you lots of Baby Dust!

Hi!

It's so true - you just know when you find the "one"!! I am actually on the waiting list for the donor I have chosen. I asked them when specimens would be available and they could not tell me. I guess the donor needs to have some labwork done - when it comes back negative then they can release the specimens in quarantine. So - I hope he gets his labwork done soon!! I would love to start my first cycle
