OK so I called the other day to check on our donor, just to see if he is still in program and how many vials he had left, and he is OUT of program with 27 vials.

Sending tons of BFP vibes. As for as the frozen sperm goes, there was an article not too long ago with a baby conceived with DS that had been frozen more then 27 yrs. So I would think a few years wouldn't matter too much. Stocking up is a good question. If you want the same genes for all of your children it might be a good idea. I think if I went a donor route for multiple children, that I would try and have the same donors if at all possible but that would just be a personal preference.

Good Luck and Keeping my fingers crossed.

I stocked up after getting pg w/ my first - I bought 12, which was the maximum # of vials for 1 storage fee, since I wasn't sure if I wanted 2 or 3 kids. I have 4 left after my second pregnancy (2 1/2 years after my first). Still haven't made up my mind on the # of kids so I'm holding on to them. For me, having the same donor for all my kids is a nice-to-have but not a necessity.
