Still in limbo, still frustrated

So now the communication is better with my clinic (the donor coordinator is back from maternity leave) but they are having trouble getting in contact with the donor to get her appointment scheduled. It's now going on 3 weeks since we confirmed her, and she has called once and left a message, but they haven't heard from her since despite leaving several messages. Now I am getting worried that this is going to cut into the holidays and she's going to hem and haw about that. I am so beyond frustrated, I have been waiting for this cycle to start for over 6 months, and really since Jan (though 3 months of that was our choice to wait). I am going on 4 months on the pill. I just want to get started!!!

Amber, this is so frustrating! I hate this part the most about this whole process. you're relying on someone else and clearly, no matter how much that someone else truly wants to help, they don't want it as much as YOU want it. it's highly frustrating.

Can you have your clinic be more proactive w/ her? Like call her EOD until she gives them an answer one way or another?

Thanks everyone.

Kate- I left a message with the agency telling them what is going on (she knows that I want this to happen ASAP, that was even a condition of us picking this donor, that she be ready to go ASAP) and that if she doesn't call to schedule her appointment within the next week we want to work with someone else.

The person who does the scheduling at the clinic said she is going to try to get an email address for her.

Amber:

If you switched clinics at this point would you be out the money or would they reimburse you for your troubles? I would be through the roof!! I am amazed you are hanging on as well as you are.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that your donor shows up.

Hugs to you,

Gab
