Using Robitussin?

Hello Ladies!

I've read in several sources that taking Robitussin a few days before you ovulate can thin out evil CM and make it more friendly so spermies can get through. I think my CM is okay, but I want to do everything I can to achieve conception. So here's my question, if your CM is okay and you take Robitussin, can it thin out your CM too much? Any thoughts? Thanks.

my last cycle I was sick prior to my iui and took a few days worth of Mucinex (same drug just stronger than Robitussin). I personally think it made it MORE difficult to track my CM because of it. Now, I am single so I wasn't trying anything other than the iui (ie naturally bding) and when I go in for my iui the doc wipes away the mucus anyways so it doesn't make a difference.

good luck
Steph

In between IVFs I used it and also followed the B-6 recipe which may have helped me get pg...sadly I m/c though.
